Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, alleys, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy equipment including jackhammers, rollers, and street sweepers safely and efficiently.
- Clear debris, snow, and ice from sidewalks and roadways during inclement weather.
- Maintain traffic control devices, signs, and public lighting fixtures to ensure compliance with city codes.
- Respond to emergency service requests and assist in disaster recovery and cleanup efforts.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal maintenance preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and drug screening.
