Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise capital improvement projects worth $20M+
- Oversee infrastructure maintenance for roads, bridges, and water systems
- Develop and implement departmental budgets exceeding $50M
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and municipal regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians
- Prepare reports for City Council and public stakeholders
- Emergency response coordination during natural disasters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Public Administration
- 8+ years of public works management experience
- Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Experience with municipal budgeting and procurement
- Proven track record in infrastructure project delivery
- Knowledge of FEMA grant management
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
