Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise county infrastructure maintenance projects including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with county procurement policies
- Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders
- Develop and implement operational improvement strategies for public works departments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently
- Maintain accurate project documentation and budget tracking systems
- Represent the county in community meetings regarding public works initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in municipal infrastructure or public works
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and infrastructure management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and FEMA compliance standards
