Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment including street sweepers, snowplows, and utility vehicles
- Perform routine inspections and repairs of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Support environmental initiatives through stormwater management and waste reduction programs
- Document work activities using digital reporting systems and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Respond to emergency service calls during inclement weather or public safety incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
