Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery for road repairs and drainage projects
- Perform routine inspections of public infrastructure (sidewalks, traffic signals, drainage systems)
- Respond to emergency service calls during inclement weather events
- Document maintenance activities using digital work order systems
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on urban development projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- Certification in water distribution systems preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Proficiency with GIS mapping software
- Valid Texas Water Operator License (T1/T2) preferred
