Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-AI algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through strategic partnerships with national labs
- Translate theoretical quantum models into production-ready ML pipelines
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and drive academic-industry collaboration initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction methodologies
- Proven ability to secure federal research grants (NSF, DOE)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
