Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve previously unsolvable computational problems
- Lead quantum system integration with classical computing infrastructure
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to implement quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Secure patents and publish research in leading quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
