Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning
- Establish quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor integration
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Create intellectual property strategy for quantum innovations
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms and cryogenic systems
- Strong background in distributed quantum computing architectures
- Track record of securing major research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
