Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic frameworks for clients using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Produce actionable foresight reports identifying disruptive forces and market inflection points
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies
- Build and maintain a proprietary database of emerging technologies and societal indicators
- Represent Nexus Horizons at global forums on future-focused policy and technology governance
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate next-generation innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or related futurist discipline
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for complex systems
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, climate resilience tech, neurodiversity innovation, or quantum computing applications
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with PhD preferred
- Proficiency in foresight tools including Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, and System Dynamics Modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through future-oriented initiatives
