Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum accelerators with classical computing infrastructure
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum algorithms in machine learning and optimization domains
- Create security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Partner with academic institutions to pioneer breakthrough quantum applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages like Q# and Qiskit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
