Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocols achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Architect quantum-secure communication networks post-quantum cryptography standards
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Translate quantum algorithms into deployable cloud-native quantum services
- Drive quantum literacy across enterprise through strategic workshops and documentation
- Secure $50M+ R&D funding through patent filings and investor presentations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of deploying quantum solutions in production environments
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Certification in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
