Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-level applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms and protocols
- Optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity in hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Translate complex quantum problems into implementable technical specifications
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware advancements and research breakthroughs
- Secure quantum-resistant cryptography solutions for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
