Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hardware-software interfaces for next-gen quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum Conferences

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Track record of securing government research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Strong knowledge of superconducting and ion-trap architectures
- Experience leading teams of 8+ technical professionals
