Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure NSF/DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing standards
- Develop partnerships with quantum cloud providers
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into practical applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Grover's)
