Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization
- Design and execute quantum hardware experiments in cryogenic environments
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop patent portfolios for quantum communication protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
