Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems

- Author high-impact research publications and patents in quantum information science
- Advise on quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure $1-2M in annual research funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical applications
- Experience securing federal or industry research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
