Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop error-correction techniques to stabilize quantum computations
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Author breakthrough research for top-tier publications (Nature, Science)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum application development
- Secure $1M+ in quantum research grants from DARPA/NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
