Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum chip prototyping and testing
- Lead cross-functional research projects with machine learning and cryptography experts
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from government and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
