Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve real-world industry challenges
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Develop IP portfolios with 10+ patent applications annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE/DARPA)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
