Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish findings in top-tier scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation tools for industry partners in finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our patent portfolio
- Stay current with emerging quantum frameworks and open-source ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research papers
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Expertise in machine learning and classical optimization algorithms
