Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at premier international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
- Secure intellectual property through patents and protect proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm implementations)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
