Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Develop novel quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum cryptography projects
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems engineering
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Patents or publications in quantum algorithm design
