Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and processing of federal pension applications and retirement requests.
- Review submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate with retirees and beneficiaries via email and phone to resolve inquiries regarding pension calculations and payouts.
- Update and maintain beneficiary records and contribution data in secure federal databases.
- Perform data entry and verification tasks to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on changes to federal pension laws and policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior federal work experience is required; we are looking for eager, trainable candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data processing.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
