Responsibilities
- Process and maintain court records, filings, and legal documents with meticulous accuracy
- Provide exceptional in-person and virtual customer service to attorneys, litigants, and judicial staff
- Manage electronic filing systems and ensure compliance with judicial protocols
- Coordinate court schedules, hearings, and administrative proceedings
- Assist in jury management processes including summons and orientation
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and statistical documentation
- Train and mentor new clerks on procedural and technological systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years administrative or legal support experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to obtain Notary Public certification within 90 days
- Experience with e-filing systems (e.g., Pacer, TexasFile)
- High school diploma or equivalent; paralegal certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and security clearance
