Responsibilities
- Perform screening of passengers, carry-on luggage, and checked baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment.
- Maintain high levels of situational awareness to identify potential security threats or prohibited items.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures in a professional, calm, and courteous manner.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the passenger experience.
- Document security incidents and report anomalies immediately to security supervisors.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient checkpoint operations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and medical evaluation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
