Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility premises via CCTV systems and patrol routes
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations per protocol
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Enforce federal regulations and security policies within assigned jurisdiction
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and communication devices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience or equivalent military service
- Ability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Proficiency in emergency response procedures and crisis management
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
