Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for remote federal clients.
- Provide expert-level technical troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with government security protocols (NIST standards).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and cloud services.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and incident reports.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably within a government or defense contracting sector.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
