Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for government staff via remote desktop and phone.
- Manage and maintain hardware inventory, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Ensure strict adherence to government security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST).
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity and software applications.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system outages.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related government role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and remote desktop technologies (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
