Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents during night shift hours
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure security protocols are followed
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement as necessary
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of security activities and incidents
- Assist in training junior security personnel on security procedures
- Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes
- Collaborate with other federal agencies to maintain a unified security posture
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum of 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (typically Secret)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- Proficiency in security software and surveillance systems
