We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Interactive Developer to join our elite engineering team. Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement high-performance, scalable 2D interactive graphics and animations using HTML5, Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, animated web interfaces.
- Performance Optimization: Rigorously optimize rendering performance to ensure smooth 60fps animations across all devices and network conditions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for creative coding within the team.
- Library Maintenance: Contribute to and maintain our internal 2D animation utility libraries and frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex rendering issues and implement creative solutions for unique design challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a specific focus on 2D web graphics and animation.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS features (Grid, Flexbox, Animations).
- Graphics Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and performance characteristics of the DOM.
- Tools: Proficiency with design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite and version control systems like Git.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex rendering issues and optimize performance.
