Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance 2D interactive tools and visualizations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL (2D context).
- Optimize rendering performance for complex graphics, ensuring 60fps animations and smooth interactions across devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate creative concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive engineering solutions.
- Implement advanced mathematical algorithms for physics simulations, particle systems, and dynamic data visualization.
- Debug and resolve complex rendering issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance.
- Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for 2D graphics engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience developing complex 2D interactive web applications.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong command of the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js, D3.js).
- Experience with physics engines or custom 2D rendering engines.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize graphics performance and manage memory usage in browser environments.
