- Manage and preserve official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous accuracy
- Oversee public records requests and ensure compliance with Washington State Public Records Act
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Coordinate with city council on legislative documentation and procedural compliance
- Lead digital transformation of records management systems
- Serve as primary liaison for interdepartmental administrative functions
- Train staff on records retention policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal clerk or records management experience
- Proficiency in Washington State public records laws and election procedures
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid Washington State Notary Public commission
