Responsibilities
- Manage and authenticate all official city records, ordinances, and resolutions

- Lead digital archiving initiatives to modernize records management systems
- Serve as custodian for the city seal and official documents
- Coordinate with city council and mayoral office for legislative documentation
- Implement compliance protocols for FOIA requests and public records
- Train staff on municipal record-keeping best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal governance or records management experience
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Expertise in Illinois election laws and municipal codes
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes public records with confidentiality
