Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical court records, filings, and dockets with 100% accuracy
- Process complex legal documents, warrants, and subpoenas within strict deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, judges, and the public
- Coordinate judicial calendars and manage courtroom scheduling logistics
- Prepare detailed reports for judicial staff and county officials
- Utilize case management software (e.g., Odyssey, Tyler) for record-keeping
- Train and mentor junior clerks on procedures and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of courthouse, legal, or government administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software systems
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
