Responsibilities
- Manage case documentation, filing systems, and judicial records with 100% accuracy
- Process court filings, fees, and payments while maintaining strict compliance protocols
- Provide in-person and remote assistance to attorneys, litigants, and judicial staff
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and court officials
- Generate official court orders, summonses, and legal correspondence
- Maintain confidential case files and sensitive information per HIPAA/JCAHO standards
- Train new clerks on departmental procedures and software systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years court/clerical experience
- Proficiency in legal terminology, document management, and case tracking systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage complex workflows
- Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders
- Kentucky Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal court procedures
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure during high-volume court sessions
