Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity frameworks and protocols
- Lead incident response teams during cyber-attack investigations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop security awareness training programs for 500+ personnel
- Collaborate with CISA and FBI on national threat intelligence sharing
- Manage compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Mentor junior cybersecurity analysts and supervise cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security operations
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network architecture
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and forensic investigation
- Demonstrated experience with zero-trust security models
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for policy documentation
