Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for federal cybersecurity breaches in the NYC region
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop and implement advanced security protocols for federal networks
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
- Maintain compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Mentor junior cybersecurity analysts on defensive techniques
- Author comprehensive security documentation and audit reports
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- Certifications in CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat hunting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Ability to obtain DHS suitability clearance within 30 days
- U.S. citizenship and clean background investigation
