Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL processes to support government reporting requirements.
- Transform raw datasets into actionable insights, interactive dashboards, and executive summaries using Tableau and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including policy makers and program managers, to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and business needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with federal and state government regulations.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to support long-term strategic planning initiatives.
- Write clear, concise technical documentation and present findings to diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data governance standards and privacy compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA).
