Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and warehousing solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and reporting specifications.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with state privacy regulations and security standards.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing sessions to empower team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role within the government or large enterprise sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and database management.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
