Responsibilities
- Handle complex driver's license and vehicle registration inquiries with precision and empathy
- Process high-volume transactions including title transfers, renewals, and commercial permits
- Maintain compliance with state regulations while resolving customer disputes
- Train and mentor junior customer service representatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency
- Utilize specialized DMV software systems for record management
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other state agencies on special cases
- Conduct quality assurance audits for service documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer service experience with 2+ years in government/regulatory environment
- Advanced knowledge of Florida DMV policies and procedures
- Proficiency in DMV-specific software (e.g., FLHSMV systems)
- Exceptional conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional certification
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency strongly preferred
