Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs for industrial facilities
- Conduct field inspections and regulatory enforcement actions
- Analyze environmental data to support policy recommendations
- Prepare technical reports and public communications materials
- Collaborate with federal EPA and local government agencies
- Manage environmental permitting processes
- Mentor junior staff on regulatory protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Experience with GIS mapping software
- Knowledge of RCRA and Clean Air Act regulations
- Ability to obtain security clearance
