Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regulatory compliance programs for industrial facilities
- Analyze environmental data to identify pollution trends and mitigation strategies
- Lead stakeholder engagement with government agencies, businesses, and community groups
- Prepare technical reports and environmental impact assessments
- Train junior staff on regulatory protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with regional water boards on enforcement actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory experience
- Valid California Environmental Specialist certification
- Advanced proficiency in GIS and environmental modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with NEPA and CEQA compliance
- Strong project management skills with $1M+ budget experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
