Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies critical to national security
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for large-scale federal datasets
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support strategic initiatives and policy recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership through comprehensive data-driven reports and briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industry
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Deep understanding of federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
