Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and support policy recommendations
- Design interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and maintain data integrity protocols
- Lead cross-functional projects with IT, policy, and research teams to translate data into actionable insights
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data narratives and strategic briefings
- Develop automated reporting systems to monitor KPIs for federal program performance
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices in federal data governance and analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience in government or regulated healthcare environments
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling techniques
- Advanced certification in Tableau or Power BI with portfolio of federal-facing visualizations
- Demonstrated experience working with sensitive healthcare data under HIPAA/FISMA regulations
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and grant management systems
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations for non-technical audiences
