Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform federal policy decisions
- Develop advanced SQL queries and data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal data security protocols
- Create predictive models to forecast healthcare utilization and program outcomes
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and documentation processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure and analytics tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or healthcare datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis software
- Strong knowledge of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Advanced experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, SAS) or healthcare informatics
- Demonstrated ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Active U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain one
