Responsibilities
- Conduct Advanced Data Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends, patterns, and insights for government clients.
- Visualize Data: Create compelling, interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Federal Missions: Develop reports and metrics that inform policy decisions and program evaluation for various federal agencies.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement data quality assurance protocols and maintain strict adherence to federal security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and technical solutions.
- Automate Processes: Develop scripts and automated workflows to streamline data ingestion and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to senior leadership.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
