Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic decision-making and policy development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Create compelling data visualizations and executive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI
- Collaborate with federal agencies to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Conduct statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends and opportunities
- Ensure data security protocols align with federal cybersecurity standards
- Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for data governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal government data analysis or regulated environments
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and R
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (AWS/GCP analytics certification a plus)
- Deep understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century IDEA Act)
- Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
- Proven ability to translate complex findings for executive stakeholders
- Clearable federal security clearance eligibility
