Responsibilities
- Analyze federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for agency stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven decision making
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries
- Implement data governance frameworks for sensitive government information
- Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with federal data compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience working with federal agencies (DOD, DHS, VA, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Clearable security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Certifications in CISSP, CIPP, or similar data security credentials
