Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale datasets from diverse federal sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Design and develop complex statistical models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, and predictive insights for government stakeholders.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and OMB guidance, regarding data privacy and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including policy analysts and IT security officers, to implement data governance frameworks.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefing materials for senior leadership and congressional oversight committees.
- Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines to improve data processing efficiency and reporting timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within the federal government or a top-tier government contractor.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is required.
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and security clearance protocols (Secret or Top Secret clearance required).
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
