Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and system administration support for government personnel.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory tracking, procurement, and disposal in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, security policies, and incident response procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives within the agency.
- Train junior staff and stakeholders on best practices for information security and IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/service experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal IT support, cybersecurity, or systems administration.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with Polygraph (or the ability to obtain).
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta) and SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (DFARS) and ITIL service management framework.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
